On Thursday evening I spent a fun couple of hours by the beach at Cramond in Edinburgh with Iain from ImacImages. It’s been a while since I had some pictures taken and I take my hat off to Iain for managing to do such  a good job – and more than anything the bike pulled it through :)

We got a fair few snaps taken and the full gallery is up on the site here so please have a look …

2010 Ironman UK: 3 from 3!

August 5th, 2010 by Fraser

Ironman was something I have always been in awe of since I started to race triathlon – the distances alone are pretty crazy when you sit down and actually think about them! – but from the start of the year Ironman UK has been a firm target for me and that ensured I was always looking forward to it and thinking about it positively.  The outcome couldn’t have been better, I mean I still can’t quite believe it and that has made all the hard work worthwhile.

1st place at Ironman UK 2010 - I'm an Ironman winner!

I’m an Ironman Champion!

August 3rd, 2010 by Fraser

Just a very quick message to say THANKYOU to everyone who has messaged, emailed, phoned and got in touch to say well done – I am (yet again this year!) over the moon with the result from the w/e in Bolton.

Crossing the finish line in Bolton on Sunday, captured by the Bolton News!

The wonderful aspect of racing an Ironman at home in the UK was being able to have so much support from my family and friends on the day – it was a long day for me but so much more stressful and worrying for them out there waiting and wondering all day long – I can’t say thanks enough to you all – Blair, Mum, Abbie, Ali, Gordo, Matty and Kerry … you made a great day so much more fun. I wish everyone else who keep me focused and working hard could’ve been there to enjoy the experience too, like Dad and Graham, but next time!

…more details soon when I get my feet back on the ground ;)
