Travelling again. Next stop – Auckland

January 16th, 2013 by

As is always the case when you are enjoying yourself, the tick tock tick of time seems to simply fly by. As such my time here in Tasmania is up and it’s time to leave after a fantastic couple of weeks down here. It’s been a superb training block and chance to visit a new part of the world all rolled into the one. Really enjoyable.

We have had some cracker views on our rides out here – Joe has done is level best to give me as much of a ‘Tassie Tour by bike’ as was possible. Ta!

Just a couple extra pictures from oner of our last longer bike rides at the weekend just past. – The last one from taken as I sat at Joe’s dads house in the morning before we headed out and I thought the horses would be more visible! There are a lot of horses in this part of the world, who I have enjoyed watching whilst pedalling along. Unfortunately this has ended up more like a ‘where’s Wally’ but you can try and find them 😉

I am leaving in the morning from Hobart for the ‘hop over the ditch’ as it appears to be referred to. Travelling to Auckland for the Asia Pacific Ironman 70.3 Championships on Sunday. It is a great way to start the year racing!
