…Volleyball team. Not my usual choice of sport (especially not this version of volleyball … thinking beach to be honest) but since Terra (my wonderful homestay) is the team massage therapist, she had free tickets, and I thought I should go experience something of US culture that I haven’t previously had the chance to. – University sport.
Point. TEXAS….. I heard this A LOT tonight. – This is only the gym … you should see the pool, sorry, aquatics centre (complete with pool records board that reads like a world record list)…. and the football stadium just blows my mind everytime we drive past it; I swear it touches the clouds. University sport in the US is just a little bit different to what I remember at Heriot Watt, or indeed see at Stirling.
