I’m not sure on this, but it seems only yesterday I was stressing about delay-edness in Florida. It wasn’t however, it was over a week ago. Time really does fly when you are having fun, although the cold tends to dull it oh so slightly … I did however have a wry smile on reading […]

“Iceland is my least favourite european nation – first the banking crisis and now this bonfire . . and that shop named after them is for neds . . . . you can quote me on all that!” Gavin says it all really.

Well I didn’t do as I said I would – and get a post up on Sunday about the week that was … and here we are on Wednesday already. Time seems to fly by, but that is no excuse. Here are some of the things I have been up to; A run with the […]

. . . . for a while at least. The sun was out (I even worked up a sweat), there was good company – Cat and Gav – and the views were stunning enough to remind us that, when the weather is good – although I will admit another few degrees C wouldn’t have gon a […]

Blair and I headed south yesterday morning to be part of the innaugural Total Racing Int. event in Northumberland. – I wasn’t racing due to feeling less than speedy of late, but hey, Blair threw on his racing flats, ahem, trainers, and climbed the podium with 3rd place!

Contact has been sparse I admit, but the internet has been hard to come by I promise. I can confirm that I am still alive and kicking in St Moritz and have been doing my best to get into some decent shape. – I think I have managed over the past month and so I […]

Today I was in Edinburgh with Gav and Mari doing the ‘tourist’ thing. -The Castle, walking the Royal Mile and Grassmarket before sitting upon the open top tour bus seeing the sights about town. We maybe could’ve caught a glimpse of the queen since she was hanging about at her Scottish Royal residence – Hollyrood […]

Gav and Will are in D.C, Dan is in Arkansas (i think?) and Conrad is in hospital in Richmond. Blair is back up North (and on the longest w/e in Scotland that means very little darkness which is really cool) in Inverness ready to hit the Highland Cross tomorrow morning. He’s been training regular enough and […]

I had a fun day today – firstly racing, and then mostly helping out – at the Stirling Triathlon which included the Scottish Schools Championships. I like racing at home when I can, and the Stirling Triathlon Club have been very supportive of me so far, making it all the more worthwhile being able to give a little something […]

Perhaps rather unimaginatively I have attempted to cobble together two seperate (and quite frankly unrelated) topics in order to avoid having a post title along the lines of ‘Photo’s for Norwell – Part II’….

Dunnung Glen and Gleneagles loop. – 83k, 2hrs 45mins. It happens a lot less often than I would like, but every now and then I find myself saying “who needs warm weather training in far flung places all over the place when it can be like this in Stirling?”. Today (and the past few days) has been awesome…. I even […]

It’s taken a while, but I was able to get back to winning ways and defend my 2008 title yesterday at the TriAthy Triathlon in Athy, Ireland. Despite there being plenty to improve upon, the result marks a positve step in the right direction for me as the season rolls on in earnest.

I’m back in Stirling, or as we have affectionately named it since the Lord Of The Rings trilogy – The Shire – and I’m back into my staple bread and butter sessions. I’m feeling much much more settled already due to that. As much as it is great being in places like California and Florida, […]

Nikola has put together a great new website (a few months in the process) linking all of our sites that he designs and manages – including South African Xterra machines Conrad and Dan, Irish literature genius Gavin, continental euro’s Dejan, Aleksandar, Igor and of course – mine. Check it out at triathlonteam.org The essential online triathlon resource […]

After what feels like an awfully long time, I am now back in Escondido from the ‘Wildflower trip’. It was a long one I’ll tell you that! But a load of fun nontheless, and most importantly I finished. Without leg pain. About bloomin’ time….

GavinNoble.com I would imagine you have already been a regular reader, and if not, why not? The newest member of our small, but every growing tri-web family (otherwise know as the Nekada Triathlon Team) is the ever endearing Irishman Gavin Noble, known for his tact, and his ability to beat around the bush. Em, NOT. – He says it as it is, and […]
