On our way home

It’s home time for us from Abu Dhabi. I am chuffed to bits with how yesterday went, and once i get home it will be great to have some relfection on the past month or so of training leading into the event. It seems a lifetime ago I was sliding along the road in Stellenbosch after crashing my bike!
We visited one of the worlds largest Mosques this morning, as something a little different to do. They have waaay too much money to spend over here!! Opulance like i have never seen. And a lot of gold and cyrstal plated/coated architecture!
The prayer area i believe … apparently they get 40+ thousand every avo!! ….
We had to wear them …. i promise!
It might be on Channel 4 at some point down the line too ….
A post race interview yesterday. Glad to be done and still in once piece. 6 and half long hours!
I’ll be home to Stirling tomo (Monday) lunchtime …. apparently Spring is well and truly on its way. Can’t wait, its too hot here anyway
