It seems like I’ve been preparing for next Sunday (Ironman UK in Bolton in case you wondered) for so long – waiting for it to roll around/thinking/contemplating/mulling it over and yet at the same time here I am finding myself surprised that the time is actually almost upon me - the final stretch!

I am a happy and content camper indeed this evening …. to try and win at Wimbleball Lake for a 3rd time yesterday has been a goal of mine all year – and so it feels extremely satisfying to have managed to do just that.

Yup, needs must, and well, I hadn’t raced a Championship event at home this year. Plus, David had won two events this year already, so I figured he’d had enough already!! Just kidding. Well, not really.
